Booking to attend the TRN 2021 event is now open.
The event this year will be fully accessible online, or can be attended in person.
Due to the need to operate this event this year to be Covid-19 safe, bookings to attend in person must be made by 31 July 2021 at the very latest – however, we reserve right to close the event to in-person booking at any point if our guidance on capacity to run a Covid safe event is reached.
We therefore ADVISE EARLY BOOKING this year if you wish to come along in person.
The deadline to book to attend this event as a virtual delegate is 3 September 2021.
Note – only fully registered and paid up delegates will be given access to the conference this year.
Fees to attend are based on a core charge for access to the event in person or remotely. An additional cost to cover catering will be charged if you would like to attend in person.
For those not paying the catering cost, details of how to access the conference online will be provided shortly before the event.
NOTE: The catering related fees (only) are refundable if you have to cancel for Covid related rules issued by the UK Government (or you are required to self-isolate because of official Track-and-Trace requirements to so do). The core charges for this event are not refundable once paid.
In the event we can not go ahead with the planned face-to-face elements of this event all will be given online access.
Costs to attend are:
Research Days only: 8 – 9 Sept: £50
Tax Education Day only: 10 Sept: £25
All three days (booked together): £70
Additional in person attendance costs £15 per day (to include all refreshments throughout the day and lunch on each day)
Please note that there will be no conference dinner this year sadly nor will any organised evening meals be provided. Any such meals will need to be arranged personally or as you see fit within Covid safe rules with other delegates.

Note – FULL TIME Phd students (or those studying part time and not otherwise in substantive employment) are able to obtain a fee waiver for attending this event supported by our sponsors – whether attending in person or remotely.
If this waiver may apply to you please complete the relevant part of the booking request (Select the relevant ‘Phd delegate’ option only), detailing which University you are registered at and who your supervisor is when requested in the booking process. No fee will be payable – this booking is just to ensure we have your details for the delegate registration process. Please note – this request to be eligible for core event charge waiver as a Phd student will be validated.
If you are attending in person you will need to make your own arrangements to be accommodated for this event.

Note: graduation ceremonies for Aston University have been announced to occur the same week as our event so you are advised to book hotels soon if you have specific preferences of venue.
