Exeter is recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Associate or Fellow for the ESRC funded ‘Fiscal Citizenships in Migrant Societies’ project. Fiscal citizenship relates to political citizenship and aspects of fiscal culture including ‘tax morale’, interaction with tax authorities and the impact of demographic change in the form of migration, on taxpaying norms.
The project uses both quantitative and qualitative methods including online surveys/survey experiments as well as case studies and interviews. The appointed candidate could be from the fields, for example, of public policy, political science, accounting, taxation, public management/administration, behavioural economics, psychology, geography or sociology.
The post holder will contribute to research design, implementation, data analysis and reporting including academic publications in journals and producing short policy briefings. The post holder is expected to work with senior members of the team at Exeter for the UK.
