Introducing the Public Finance Network – call for papers/panel proposals – deadline 1 March
February 11, 2019 | by David Massey
The window for submissions to SSHA [Social Science History Association] 2019 — to be held in Chicago — is now open, and we are looking for public finance submissions!
The Public Finance Network is looking to attract researchers from across history, political science, law, sociology and other social sciences to present their work on public finance, broadly construed. Public finance topics include, but are by no means limited to, studies of taxation, public spending, and monetary, fiscal, and regulatory policy. Comparative studies are encouraged, as are studies of both national and subnational questions in public finance. We are especially keen to receive proposals for complete panels, but individual papers will also be considered.
As we are a new network, we also invite all those submitting papers with public finance elements to other SSHA networks to list Public Finance as a primary or secondary network! If you know anyone whose work might touch on public finance topics — including graduate students — please share this CFP with them.
The SSHA submission site is here: http://ssha2019.ssha.org. And the submission deadline is March 1. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!
