img_9164TRN 2016 was held in the wonderful setting of the University of Roehampton – with thanks to Professor Rebecca Boden for hosting us once again. We had a range of presenters and papers, with two streams running through most of the conference. The main conference was again preceded by a PhD colloquium, and we were lucky enough to have another huge range of presenters and attendees from a number of different countries. Thank you again to the organising committee for making it such a success.

img_9165During the conference, acting Chair Professor Jane Frecknall-Hughes was confirmed in post and two new deputy chairs, Dr Dominic de Cogan and Lynda Burkinshaw were also kind enough to volunteer their services. Full details of the steering committee and executive, and their conference details can be found on the About page.

“It was great to welcome so many participants to the TRN 2016 Conference at Roehampton.  We continue to have a wide variety of excellent papers, presented by both experienced and new tax researchers from the UK and overseas, in a very supportive and friendly atmosphere.”

Details of TRN 2017 will be made available as they arise but we anticipate the conference will kindly be hosted by our colleagues at Bournemouth University.img_9167
