The conference is organized in collaboration with Qatar University and General Tax Authority,
Economic diversification stands as a central pillar within the economic development plans of the GCC. These plans encompass various strategies aimed at bolstering the contribution of non-hydrocarbon sectors to the GDP, targeted initiatives to stimulate growth in specific industries and a range of tax and non-tax incentives, all designed to promote private sector expansion and foster foreign direct investment (FDI).
Submission Guidelines
We welcome submission of abstracts and/or papers. Please submit a 500-1000 word extended abstract as a proposal for consideration at the conference. Full papers will also be accepted into the submission system. At least one author must attend the conference for the proposed paper to be included in the conference program.
Please note that, you need to upload the extended abstract and/or paper (in PDF or WORD file) as an attachment to complete the submission

Representatives from all countries and institutions of all types and missions including:
● Higher education faculty members from all disciplines
● Graduate and undergraduate students preparing to become professionals – joint proposals from graduate/undergraduate students and their faculty mentors/advisors are welcome
● Higher education executives, administrators, and managers
● Representatives from businesses and governments
● Professionals from law, accounting and other consulting firms
