Nottingham University Business School is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Accounting.
Candidates should have a PhD or equivalent in a relevant area (or be close to completion), together with significant teaching experience in relevant subjects at HE level. The person appointed will be expected to engage in high quality research and teaching on the range of programmes offered by the School.
A record of publishing in world-leading, peer-reviewed journals in Accounting is required along with an ability to supervise postgraduate and PhD students. Candidates should have the ability to advance their own research area, the flexibility to collaborate with colleagues and the ability to work well in a team. They should have excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in relevant subjects within Accounting (especially Taxation; Business Law). They will also be required to make an appropriate contribution to administration.
This is a full-time (36.25 hour) post, offered on a permanent contract and is available from February 2022. Job share arrangements may be considered.
